Minister of Culture and the Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini said on Sunday that the enemies confrontation with Iran is mainly ideological rather than the nuclear dispute.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - He made the remarks in the closing ceremony of the Press and News Agencies Exhibit in Tehran.

Hosseini said enemies are concerned about Iranians thoughts and ideology, therefore, they attempted not not let any nation hear or listen to the voice of Iranian Revolution.

He said enemies are following double standard in international campaign against terrorism by delisting the terrorist Mujahedeen Khalq Organization from the global terrorist groups, sanctions on Ministry of Culture and the Islamic Guidance or forcing the satellite broadcasting providers to cut services to Iranian TVs.

Hosseini said that the Western governments employ media as means to reinforce their hegemony over the international community and drive their rivals out of the competetion.

"They manipulate media contents in a bid to divide the people, stir dispute among them. The Islamic principles are against such immoral, inhuman and nonprofessional behavior," Hosseini said.
